Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held talks, during a phone conversation on Friday, with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, covering bilateral ties, as well as, the latest developments in the Middle East region.
The two top diplomats discussed efforts aiming at ending the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as Safadi stressed the need for a consolidation of the ceasefire that has been reached in this regard, as well as, enshrining peace through political solution in accordance with UN resolutions, international legitimacy, and international law in a manner that guarantees security and stability.
