Int’l oil derivatives prices drop in 3rd week of October

Prices of oil derivatives in international markets slightly dropped during the third week of October, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the data, the price of 90-octane gasoline declined by 0.3 percent, going from $383.3 to $382.2 per ton, while the price of 95-octane gasoline went down from $395.4 per ton in the second week to $390.3 in the third week, a decrease of 1.3 percent.

Diesel prices also fell by 1.9 percent going from $338 per ton to $331.7, while the prices of kerosene slightly dropped by 0.6 percent, from $333.1 to $331.

The prices of liquefied gas stood at $378.8 per ton, while benchmark Brent crude prices stood at $40.2 in the third week of this month.
