A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, so moderate conditions will prevail over the highlands, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds are expected to appear at various altitudes, mainly in the southern and eastern regions, and winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD added.
A further drop in mercury levels is predicted on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing moderate autumn-like conditions in the mountains and plains, while it will remain relatively hot in other regions, the Department further said.
Temperatures for today in Amman are forecast to see a high of 32 degrees Celsius, and a low of 19 degrees, while highs in the port city of Aqaba will jump to 37 degrees, sliding to 26 degrees at night.
