Prices of fuel derivatives slightly rise in 4th week of July

The prices of oil derivatives in global markets have slightly risen in the fourth week of July, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The ministry’s figures showed that the price of 90-octane gasoline went up by 0.3 percent, going from $380.6 per ton in the third week of July to $381.7, while the price of 95-octane gasoline rose from $396.2 per ton to $397.8, an increase of 0.4 percent.

Diesel prices also increased by 2.1 percent going from $368.1 per ton to $375.8, while the prices of kerosene also rose by 2.3 percent, from $343 to $350.9 per ton.

The prices of liquefied gas for July stood at $345 per ton.

Benchmark Brent crude prices went down from $43.9 in the 3rd week of July to $43.7 per barrel at the end of the month.
