The official spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that information had been received regarding the storage of large quantities of narcotics in an uninhabited desert area in Al Ruwaished.
He added that a joint security force moved to the location and conducted extensive searches within the area of interest, leading to the discovery of three large containers hidden among the rocks.
Inside, 350,000 narcotic pills were found. Investigations have commenced to apprehend the main suspect and those involved in this dangerous case.
In a related context, following the gathering of information about individuals involved in drug trafficking cases in Sahab in the capital, the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) carried out a special security campaign targeting locations and residences associated with their criminal activities.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of four drug dealers, and the seizure of a total of 28 kilograms of hashish, 3,500 narcotic pills, and three firearms in their possession.
