Israeli Occupation ramps up restrictions around Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) intensified their presence around the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem Sunday morning.

They hindered worshipers from accessing the mosque’s courtyards and blocked the entry of Palestinian citizens to the compound.

Israeli Occupation settlers entered the compound in groups, where they conducted provocative tours in the courtyards of the mosque and performed Talmudic rituals near the Dome of the Rock.

The Islamic Waqf Department said the IOF Israeli forces have provocatively allowed a large number of Israeli Occupation settlers to enter the courtyards of the mosque, while assaulting Muslim worshipers.

The statement also reported that approximately 15 Muslim worshipers have been forcibly removed from the holy site.

The IOF also arrested two unidentified individuals who were present in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
