Dozens of Israeli Occupation settlers entered the Aqsa Mosque compound early Wednesday morning, under the protection of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The settlers forcefully entered the compound through the al-Maghariba gate and took provocative tours in the area, then performed Talmudic rituals within the eastern section.
This incident coincides with escalated actions taken by IOF against Palestinians attempting to access the mosque.
These measures include thorough ID inspections and temporary detentions.
