Wednesday, an Israeli Occupation court in Jerusalem sentenced a Palestinian man to 30 years in prison, claiming that he allegedly carried out a car-ramming attack in February 2020
The Israeli Occupation accused Sanad Turman from Occupied Jerusalem of running over 12 Israeli soldiers, but his family said that it was an accident and not an intentional car-ramming attack
Turman turned himself in to the Israeli Occupation police after the accident and reaffirmed that he had not deliberately run over the soldiers
Turman’s brother Mohammad said that his brother fled the scene after the accident because he feared the Israeli Occupation soldiers might kill him, but turned himself in the next day
The Israeli Occupation court also ordered Turman to pay compensation to each of the 12 injured soldiers
