The Ministry of Health will conduct PCR tests for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in all public and private institutions, hospitals, ministries and factories, a health official said Saturday.
Assistant Secretary-General for Primary Health Care at the Health Ministry, Ghazi Sharkas, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) the mechanism will be steered by teams to all locations in the governorates to conduct periodic tests for all employees, visitors of ministries and institutions, people who are admitted to hospital, emergency patients and factory workers.
He pointed out that tests will be conducted due to the existence of virus variants and to prevent a virus third wave, stressing that “no one will be excluded from the tests except for those who have had their second vaccine dose for at least two weeks, even if they were previously infected.”
