The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has strongly condemned the ‘Israeli’ airstrikes on Syrian territory, calling them a blatant violation of international law, an infringement on Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a dangerous escalation that will only increase regional tensions and conflict.
Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s support for Syria’s security, stability, and sovereignty.
He urged the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by pressuring ‘Israel’ to cease its provocative and unlawful attacks on Syria and to end its occupation of Syrian territory.
He also stressed the importance of ‘Israel’ adhering to international law and relevant UN resolutions, which require respect for state sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of other nations.
