Five Palestinians killed in Israeli Occupation aggression on Jenin, Ramallah

Four Palestinians were killed and 25 others were wounded, in a large-scale military operation by the Israeli Occupation army, on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, in the northern occupied West Bank, Roya’s correspondent reported.

Additionally, a fifth Palestinian was killed by the Israeli Occupation in Ramallah.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, five Palestinians were killed in less than 10 hours, including a young man from Al-Bireh, and four in Jenin. This brings the total number of martyrs since the beginning of this year to 185.

Israeli Occupation airstrikes were launched on Jenin and its camp after midnight. The camp was deliberately targeted, according to Roya’s correspondent.

The Israeli Occupation Army spokesperson confirmed the army’s involvement in targeting the camp. Hebrew media also reported that the army initiated attacks on targets in Jenin from the air.

As part of their military operation in the northern West Bank, the Israeli Occupation forces conducted a series of airstrikes in Jenin. Over 100 vehicles were mobilized for the invasion, marking the start of a large-scale operation that is said to continue for several days. The Israeli Occupation army sent text messages to the residents of Jenin camp, advising them to remain in their homes during this time.

In the latest development, the Islamic Jihad Movement released a brief statement in response to the ongoing events in the Jenin camp. They attributed full responsibility to the Zionist enemy for the aggression and emphasized that they will bear the consequences. Sources within the Palestinian resistance reported that the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, is on high alert in the Gaza Strip.
