Son kills father, throws body from eighth floor in Egypt

The Egyptian authorities arrested a young man accused of stabbing his father with a knife and subsequently throwing his body from the eighth floor in the Sayeda Zeinab area in Cairo.

According to Egyptian media reports, the incident unfolded when the security services in Cairo received an alert from individuals who discovered the body of a man with stab wounds to the abdomen and chest in one of the streets of Sayeda Zeinab area.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that the victim, a 57-year-old man, had sustained six stab wounds along with head injuries resulting from the fall from an upper floor. Surveillance cameras at the scene were taken for analysis, and eyewitnesses were questioned to unveil the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Initial inquiries revealed that the son was responsible for the crime, which occurred following a heated altercation between him and his father inside their apartment. Subsequently, the son was apprehended by authorities.

The Public Prosecution has urged the security forces in Sayeda Zeinab to expedite the investigation into the incident and unveil its full circumstances.
