Syria announced on Saturday, it has recorded 56 new Covid-19 cases, and 3 virus-related deaths.
Meanwhile, 31 patients have recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative recovery cases to 1456, the Syrian News Agency “SANA” quoted the Ministry of Health as saying.
To date, the total caseload recorded in Syria has reached 4,987, while the death toll has hit 241 cases, added the ministry.
The first infection was recorded in Syria on last March 22 for an arrival from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the 29th of the same month, according to the ministry’s data.
