Brazil’s Ministry of Health recorded 561 new deaths and 16,641 new infections from the coronavirus during the last 24 hours.
In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said that COVID-19 death toll in Brazil, the world’s No. 2 coronavirus hot spot after the United States, reached 94,665 along with 2,750,318 cases, according to the state’s agency.
“A total of 1,912,319 COVID-19 patients have recovered,” it added.
