China reported 19 new cases from the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, with no new deaths, according to the National Health Commission (NHC) on Tuesday.
In a daily statement, the NHC said some 7 cases of the new infections were recorded in the capital, Beijing, adding it had received reports of 83,531 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland.
