Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Sami al-Daoud said that the Jordanian state has proven its capabilities to work during the hardest times.
Al-Daoud made his remarks during an interview with Al-Mamlakah T.V. channel, yesterday, adding that all procedures that have been taken by the government during the coronavirus crisis did not affect the workflow at the pivotal institutions at the public sector.
The minister pointed to the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) that circulated a guide for work for public sector employees to ministries and government departments.
The guide, al-Daoud said, was prepared in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Jordan within its SIGMA (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management) program.
The minister stressed that the guide includes general considerations related to resuming on-site work, foremost of which is the gradual return of employees to the workplace in three batches, taking into account the percentages determined by concerned ministers.
The guide, al-Daoud clarified, stipulates the periodic sterilization of workplaces, limiting meetings that require physical proximity and replacing them with remote meetings whenever possible, reducing the number of participants in meetings to the minimum necessary number and ensuring social distancing during such meetings.
