Brazil records 674 new deaths from the Corona

Brazil announced, on Monday evening, the registration of 674 new deaths caused by the Corona virus, while it has become the fourth country in the world in terms of the outcome of infections.

According to the Brazilian Ministry of Health, in a new statistic published Monday evening, the number of confirmed infections of the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours increased by 13140 cases, compared to 7938 in the statistic yesterday, to reach the level of 254220.

Brazil thus became the fourth country in the world in terms of the number of HIV infections, as Britain exceeded this list.

The ministry also stated that the number of deaths due to the virus increased during the past day by 674 new cases, bringing the total death toll to 16792 people.

The new toll indicates a high daily death rate from the Coronavirus, as it reached 485 cases in a statistic yesterday, Sunday, after it was 816 on Saturday.

Against the background of the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the country amid the accelerating spread of Corona virus, the Brazilian Health Minister, Nelson Tech, submitted his resignation Friday, while media leaks revealed his differences with the President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, on ways to combat the pandemic, which reduced the latter in Its earlier seriousness.
