Israel recorded one death and 17 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the death tally to 267 and caseload to 16,606
Among the cases, 59 patients are in serious condition, 49 on respirators, and 12,820 have recovered, the Yediot Aharonot website quoted the Israeli Ministry of Health as saying.
To mitigate lockdown measures after record low cases over the past ten days, the Israeli government announced earlier that some of the restrictions imposed were lifted, as students return to schools on Sunday in virus low-hit areas.
