JAF: announces end of the first stage of evacuation of the returning students

The Jordanian Armed Forces announced the end of procedures to receive Jordanian students returning from abroad, within the health instructions followed

The airport security and protection director, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Shantir said: “The first stage of implementing the evacuation plan for the Queen Alia Airport has been completed, thankfully, so the total number of flights that arrived until Friday morning is 16 flights, the total of arrivals is 2940 passengers, and the rest of the stages will be announced later.” .

He added: “All returning students have been transferred to quarantine sites, and none have been excluded.”

The Royal Engineering Corps teams disinfected and sterilized the airport after completing the first stage to make it a safe and constantly sterile environment.

The precautionary measures are part of the preventive plan implemented by the armed forces, government and security agencies, and various state institutions to ensure the containment and prevention of the spread of the Coruna virus.
