The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday, the repatriation of 307 of its citizens stranded in Ukraine and Jordan, due to the measures to prevent Corona virus.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said, “The ministry pursues the principle of national response diplomacy, and directs its efforts from the early days of the embargo and closures in the face of the spread of the Corona virus, and through the Crisis Cell and the Protocols Department. It has 121 passengers on board.

He added, “The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine launched an exceptional flight for Iraq with 186 passengers, in cooperation with Iraqi Airways.”
