Jordan exports to US grew 22% in January

Jordanian exports to the United States grew by 22.1 percent in January to about JD118 million, compared to JD96 million in the same period last year, according to Department of Statistics’ foreign trade data.

It showed the value of the Kingdom’s imports from the United States also increased in January by 38.2 percent to reach about JD150 million, compared to JD109 million in the same period in 2022.

The volume of trade between Jordan and the United States in January was at about JD268 million, compared to JD205 million in the same period last year, while the Kingdom’s trade balance deficit with the United States reached about JD32 million in January, compared to JD13 million in the same period of the previous year, according to the figures.
