A wanted person classified as dangerous was arrested in Amman Friday, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
The individual had an arrest warrant issued against him based on eight charges, involving attempted murder and drug-related offenses, the PSD spokesperson explained.
An investigative team from the Criminal Investigation Department worked on the case, tracked down the wanted person and successfully arrested him, the source added.
He noted that the wanted person was arrested in northern Amman, adding that a firearm and quantity of bullets were seized during the raid.
Investigations are underway.
