Three people were killed and 816 others injured due to a 5,9 magnitude earthquake that struck northwestern Iran on Saturday evening, according to Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA)
The University of Tehran’s seismological center on Sunday said the earthquake hit the city of Khoy, West Azerbaijan province, in northwest Iran, around 9:44 p.m. local time (6:14 GMT)
