The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast a slight drop in temperatures on Saturday, with moderate and partly cloudy weather conditions prevailing in most areas of the country.
A chance for scattered showers is also expected in some regions, accompanied by thunder at times, with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
The JMD warned of slippery roads in areas expecting rainfall and low visibility in Badia areas due to winds raising dust.
Sunday will bring in similar moderate temperatures, while Monday will see a slight rise in mercury levels with the same weather conditions.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 24 and 23 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 15C or even 12C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be hotter with mercury reaching a high of 30C and a low of 19C.
