Saturday will see a slight drop in mercury and the weather will be moderate almost countrywide, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
According to the JMD report, the weather will be cold at night, in the highlands, and fair in the Badia and plain regions, and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
On Sunday, temps are set to further drop slightly and the weather will be pleasant almost countrywide, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the JMD said.
Regarding Monday and Tuesday, similar weather will prevail as the day earlier.
Also on Saturday, mercury in the capital Amman will hover around a high of 29 degrees Celsius, dipping to 17C during night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a sizzling 35C, dropping to 26C during night hours.
