The weather on Monday is forecast to be moderate in the highlands and relatively hot in other regions, with temperatures around seasonal average and northwesterly winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

In its report, the JMD warned of the danger of direct exposure to the sun at noon in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, and the possibility of low horizontal visibility in the desert due to fog formation.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather is expected to remain generally moderate, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.

Maximum temperatures today are expected to hover between 31 and 27 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern region, while minimum temperatures will range between 18 and 15 degrees. In the southern highlands, the highs will remain in the 28-degree range, while the lows will be slightly cooler, dropping to 14 degrees at night. Highs in Aqaba are predicted to hit 37 degrees, while the lows will reach 27 degrees Celsius, the JMD added.
