Mercury on Saturday will be around its seasonal average, as fair weather is forecast in the highlands and plains, while Badia regions, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba will see scorching conditions, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
In its report, the JMD warns motorists of low horizontal visibility due to fog over the highlands and Badia regions in the early morning hours, as well as risks of direct exposure to sunlight in Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
Regarding Sunday, the weather will remain fair in the highlands and plains, and blistering in the Badia regions, Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Meanhile on Monday, mercury is set to drop slightly, with similar weather forecast a day earlier, which will also extend to Tuesday.
Also on Saturday, mercury in Amman will hit 32 degrees Celsius, dipping into 18C at night, while Gulf of Aqaba will see a searing 38C, sliding into 27C during night hours.
