Normal summer weather to persist for remainder of week

 Temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to be around their annual average, with normal summer conditions prevailing in the heights and the plains, while it will be hot in the rest of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

The weather department warned about standing under direct sunlight for extended periods, especially at noon, in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range between 34 Celsius degrees and 22 degrees at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a searing 42 degrees, dropping to 27 degrees during night hours.

The JMD predicted normal summer conditions to persist for the remainder of the week, with clouds at medium altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
