Russia, yesterday, called for observing the terms of the status quo in relations to the holy places in Jerusalem enshrined in the Jordanian-Israeli peace treaty, as well as the UN resolutions concerning the holy city.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova voiced her country’s concern over the development of the situation in the Gaza strip and East Jerusalem.
